Hi, I'm Tegan
The Creative Behind Crunchy

That's me!

Not just social

Crunchy was founded with a passion for helping small businesses in NZ cut through the noiseand focus on what truly matters. Having run my own small business I know first hand the challenges: battling the algorithm, finding time to create engaging content, and trying to reach new audiences only to feel like your efforts aren’t hitting the mark. That’s why I'm here, to lighten your load and take the stress out of online marketing.

A bit about me
Refreshed, not reinvented.
This career kind of snuck up on me, even though I'd been designing, editing, building websites, and running small businesses for the last 10 years. I was blind to the dream of turning it into something full time
It wasn't until 2024 that I decided to take design and digital marketing seriously, re-study, and eventually launch Crunchy Marketing, specifically and intentionally working with Small Business in New Zealand and abroad.
Based in Northland, I started Crunchy because small businesses deserve marketing that's as good as they are. I got tired of watching good businesses get overlooked just because their marketing hadn't caught up to how good they actually are, so I decided to fix that.
Branding, websites, social media, the whole digital glow up, all built by someone who is probably just as emotionally invested in the success of your brand as you are.
What you should know,
if you work with me
Add a Title
I'm not just here to design things and disappear. I get genuinely invested in your business doing well, the kind of invested where I'll be in your corner, cheering you on, and telling anyone who'll listen how good your brand actually is.
I have a background in vintage fashion, which means a serious thing for 60s–00s design, and anything with actual character.
It shows up everywhere, my colour choices, my eye for layout, even how I think about brand identity. If your brand could use a bit more soul and a little less "default Canva template," we're going to get along great.A constant flow of new branding projects, websites, social media, content, the whole digital glow up keeps things fresh. But if I had to pick a favourite, it's untangling a brand that's a bit all over the place and turning it into something that makes my clients say "wow, it's like you were in my head"
I'm based in Northland and genuinely love working with businesses up here, but distance has never stopped me. Whether you're down the road or in the bottom of the south, no project is out of reach.
I'm going to be honest with you (it's kind of my whole thing). If your brand's a bit lost, I'll say so. If an idea isn't working, I'll tell you before you spend money on it. And if you send me an email, I'll actually read the whole thing, not just enough to fire back a generic reply.
I'll also tell you what I actually think, not just what you want to hear. It's not always what you expect, but it's how you end up with a brand worth having instead of one that's just fine.
